“The Church must be a place of mercy freely given, where everyone can feel welcomed, loved, forgiven and encouraged to live the good life of the Gospel.”   Pope Francis

Early morning, Easter Monday, Pope Francis went home to Almighty God. May he rest in eternal peace.

As the Church celebrates the victory of the Risen Christ, we pause in mourning for His faithful servant. Let us commend the soul of our Holy Father to the infinite mercy of God.

Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace. Amen.

Requiem aeternam dona ei, Domine, et lux perpetua luceat ei. Requiescat in pace. Amen.
